Prior to 1989, all personal information about Todd is considered
classified by both the Canadian and Icelandic governments. In
1989, Todd appeared fully formed and functioning as the bass player
in the seminal Vancouver hard rock band Real Eyes. After several
years of recording and playing live shows, the band amiably parted
ways, with the other three members going on to massive success as
really nice people. From this point until sometime in the late nineties
we again find details of Todd’s life shrouded in secrecy.
He then appeared as yet another bass player in the already hugely successful band ,
The Pop Junkies. After five years of playing to sold outshows all over the Tri Cities, Todd parted ways with “the Junkies “and performed yet another disappearing act. Although small bits of information surfaced here and there, there wasn’t even a Todd siting until July 10th, 2009 when the still hugely popular PopJunkies played a live show with a hither-to unknown new bass player. Subsequent interviews and and surveillance have proven beyond a doubt that the bass player in question is indeed Todd Araki. |
